We believe that God is the creator and sustainer of ALL things.

We believe in Jesus Christ: God’s only Son and the Savior of the World.

We believe in the Bible. It is God’s Holy Word… without error in its original form and inspired by the Holy Spirit.

We accept the Bible as the final authority for all matters of faith and practice.
1 Cor 2:12-13, 2 Tim 3:14-16, 2 Pet 1:20-21, Isa 40:8, Rom 15:4, Heb 4:12, 2 Tim 3:16)

We believe that man, created by God, willfully sinned. As a result, he is lost and without hope apart from Jesus Christ.

Acts 4:12, Rom 3:23

We believe that salvation and the forgiveness of sins comes by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.

Because of his blood that was shed as payment for our sins.
Matt 26:28, Rom 5:9, Eph 2:8-9, 1 Pet 1:18-19, 1 John 1:7

We believe that the Bible teaches that our faith should move us to response.

When we come to believe that Jesus is God’s Son and the Savior of the world, we are moved to repent of personal sin – to confess Jesus as Lord of our lives – and to submit to the Biblical command of baptism. It is not our position that the mere act of baptism itself possesses any power to “save” a person, but rather that through baptism we personally identify with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ (Romans 6). We believe that it should be the practice of those who believe in Jesus as their savior to be immersed in baptism.
Rom 5:1-2, Luke 24:45-47, John 11:25-26, Acts 3:19, Acts 17:30, 2 Pet 3:9, Matt 10:32, Rom 10:9-10, 1 John 4:15, Acts 2:38, Rom 6:1-7, Gal 3:27, Col 2:12, 1 Pet 3:21

We believe that the church is the body and bride of Christ, founded on the day of Pentecost, consisting of all Christians everywhere.

Therefore we do not claim to be the ONLY Christians – but we are Christians only.
Matt 16:13-18, Acts 2:14-47

We believe that death seals the eternal destiny of each person.

When Jesus returns He will formally pronounce the eternal fate of each individual, both the living and the dead. The saved will be assigned eternal life with God in heaven – the unsaved will suffer eternal separation from God in Hell.
John 6:39, Rom 8:10-11, Rom 8:19-23, John 5:29, Daniel 12:2, Daniel 5:29

We believe that God has ordained that elders are to exercise spiritual leadership and authority over the local congregation.

Acts 20:28, 1 Tim 3:1-7, Tit 1:5-9, 1 Pet 5:1-4

We believe that marriage is the uniting (of) one biological man and one biological woman by God in an exclusive covenant union.

(Gen 2:18-25, Matt 19:4-6) God intends for sexual intimacy to occur only in the context of this marriage relationship (Heb 13:4). Any form of sexual relationship outside of the marriage between one biological man and one biological woman (including adultery, fornication, homosexual behavior, bisexual conduct, incest, and use of pornography) is sinful and dishonoring to God (Matt 15:18-20, 1 Cor 6:9-10). God offers the good news of redemption and restoration to all who repent from their sin, and seek forgiveness through Jesus Christ. (1 Cor 6:11)
