It is a fact that all too easily escapes us...we live in the most prosperous nation in the history of the world.  American Christians possess the resources to join God in what He is doing around the world, and to bring massive transformation to our globe.  But sadly, we keep most of it to ourselves.  The average American Christian gives just 2% of their income to the church, and the average American church gives just 1% of that to global causes.  That's shameful...and sinful.

We believe that NOTHING will change those statistics except for more American Christians to see what extreme poverty and lifew without Jesus REALLY looks like - up close and personal. 

That's why every year, Calvary offers a number of short-term missions opportunities for people in our church to engage in.  For information regarding upcoming opportunities, check back on the page.
